I have five exams in the next ten days, the first of which is only - oh shit - sixty hours away.

I have not even finished skimming through my notes.

Thus, of course, I start thinking about an entry for this competition. Aagh.

I will have a whole two days after my last exam in which I can write it and still post it in time, so I've noted my ideas and now I'm backing away. Really.

Laa, I have the book if you want to read them and maybe enter, but you can't have it until after exams.

Ugh. More reading now. And I don't mean fic. Honest.

It was a nice day. "The soldiers poison the air." This is why moons appear to be, on the average, a little ahead or a little behind, depending on whether they are closer to or farther from the earth. They were carrying the stretcher, just as we expected, but when the porch light came on we were not prepared for what we saw: Lux Lisbon, sitting up, very much alive. This may well form the theme of a new tale; the one we wished to offer the reader is ended.
