May. 18th, 2003 12:52 amI am bruis-ed!
I fell over earlier. Um. I went to sit on the stool but failed to reach the stool so sort of slid down the side then landed on its feet as it fell, and could not catch self as had hamster in hand which ended up going flying across the room. But. I have two bruises from that, one low down on side of thigh and other on arse. Is sore.
But I sat down at 'puter as Mim left, and discovered older bruises from previous spectacular fall involving stool. Was swinging slightly on chair, chair tipped over and sent me into stool which half-broke my fall then fell itself so I ended up on my back on the floor, and it took longer for you to read that than it did for that to happen. Oh, and when I went to get up I accidentally kicked two glasses off the corner of my desk. But I discovered quite spectacular bruises behind my knee, presumably from catching it on chair or stool. They are dark, and are a few splotches and a line right along the crease of my knee. Which is quite interesting.
Am now going to bed. Will check in process if have any more undiscovered bruises. May, of course, find them by simple expedient of bashing them off something.
In other news, think may get that tattoo after all - kbk was going to be part of an anklet but that still needs work and I find myself quite tempted by the idea of having it on the back of my wrist. Mim wrote it on for me before she left, and I like. So will presumably end up printing out a whole page of "kbk"s in various fonts and sizes so I can find one that fits. Hooray for procrastination. Oh, and my father said he couldn't imagine how people could get tattoos or even pierced - he has needle issues from having been ill as a teen. I was having this discussion with my sister (who isn't even pierced) about piercings and tattoos and he made us stop. I think he was uncomfortable with our other topic of conversation as well, which was depression and symptoms and methods of dealing with it. Um. Yes. Anyway. Have been known to get loquacious when over-tired. Should sleep now.
Study? What's that?
