No, maybe not, just... grr. stuff. ( spoilery )
but she does have a gift for scenes, and inducing emotion, and the writing is clear and easy to follow and descriptive but not overtly and... I'm not making sense, am I? but I really do admire her writing, it's just that I feel the plotting sometimes lets her down, and maybe the depiction of minor characters though that's probably the ficcer in me talking.
( scenes )
I came out of it absolutely loving McGonagall and the twins, with an option on Remus.
But. My big problem that I forgot would occur? I hate schoolkids. Especially boys. Especially mid-teens. Absolutely detest 'em.
Didn't really help with the experience of this book.
