(no subject)

I had an odd extended dream which had various Star Trek characters being street performers in some sort of carnival. Also, part of it was story-format and they persisted in calling one of the three trumpets a cello. And there was part set at high school, and there was a dead house further down the hill, and...

I still prefer the one where Orlando Bloom became Death.

For some reason, I quite want to write Kurt/Piotr (Nightcrawler/Colossus). Because I've been reading Kurt/Ororo which is cute and all, and practically movie canon. There have been occasional bits of K and P being friends, and I just... I don't know where it comes from. But I couldn't do filmverse because I do believe in the K/O there, and I don't remember either of them from the cartoon, and Kurt from Evolution (where they're mostly teenagers) doesn't have the maturity and... peace that I find so appealing about him. And I haven't read the comics.

I don't tend to like comics. They have less words, and the pictures often don't look right. So.

I have odd stuff going on with X-Men pairings. See, in the cartoon, there was Gambit/Rogue which was really sweet and I adored. In Evolution... there's not really anything that I can think of, because I don't like Scott... Ooh! That one ep where Kitty showed up and Avalanche was trying to persuade her that they were above the rules etc - they were cute together. Filmverse, K/O as above. I kinda liked Marie/Logan for the first film, but I prefer the Rogue/Bobby/John triangle we get in X2.

And yet the pairing I suddenly desire to fic is one that I've never seen. I think it's just that they both have a solidity to them, personality-wise, a sort of grounded-ness that I find really attractive. I could just do friendship-fic. Or I could do filmverse and totally slaughter Ororo character-wise.

Halle Berry's a bit too delicate anyway.
