Oct. 8th, 2004 10:27 pmI ate rice and bhajis. It was nice.
I have put my laundry on to wash. Somebody obviously did not have correct change, as the machine I chose had forty pence already paid. This was exciting, and means I do not have to go back to my room in order to acquire sufficient coinage for long drying. Yay.
I will inhabit the computer room for length of laundryage, I think - at the moment, there is only one other person here. I doubt it will get busy.
After that I shall retreat to my room, where I will eat doughnuts, drink hot chocolate, and read one of the crappy romantic novels I bought in Shelter. Other purchases there were a jacket-y thing, collarless, black with grey patterns, and a large black mug. I also bought a long brown skirt in Monsoon. Mim got the same skirt in a different size. We were lured in by the tweed skirt on the dummy, and Kim also tried that on, but it had odd padding happening around the hips, which was a shame.
I really ought to draw up a budget, and soon. Oh well.
[eta] I forgot the dryers only take twenty pence pieces. So all my stuff will be a bit damp. Oh well.
