So I finally called Nightline...
Feb. 8th, 2005 09:59 amAnd you'll never guess why. Well, you might, but it's not something I ever thought I'd call them for, and believe me, I've had some thoughts.
I got stranded in Dunfermline.
( long story (which I'm so not telling dad) )
And then I had a nine o'clock this morning. Which I went to, and was on time for, and I sat there and took notes despite the fact that my hands are trembling this morning. They haven't done that in a while. I'm hoping it's a delayed stress reaction. Or lack of sleep, or something, because if it's the drugs then I'll have to go back down and I'm sorry but I quite like being happy on occasion.
Um. Eek. So I didn't do the work I meant to do yesterday, but screw it, I'll do it today, but after I've had a nap, but I have another lecture, and it turns out both my modules are with the same guy, which is not too bad because he's at least a competent teacher. Also, he said he'd be away on Thursday, so I get the day off.
I haven't done the work I meant to do at all. I don't really care. I have started reading the Black Company books which my sister gave me at Christmas - I'd left them in Renfrew because my bags were crammed - and I like them.
Eek! Hands, stop trembling! It's bloody annoying!
