OK, so I had to reschedule a phone call about jobseeker's allowance because I kept putting off searching for my important necessary papers like bank details and stuff. But a couple of hours ago I finally got it together, and I moved stuff from one part of the floor to a different part of the floor, and I went under my bed and pulled out boxes and found the things in, like, twenty minutes. Also, I had the joy of rediscovering things, like a couple of sets of photos and half-a-dozen recorders (mostly descant, I think a sopranino and a tenor as well - no trebles, which sucks, I might have to buy myself one at some point. oh, and when I'm settled somewhere and have disposable cash, I'm getting myself a bass, because iirc they sound so mellow it's not true) and in my kitchen box there was a packet of supernoodles which I just ate, and, yum. so, um. Yay!

blessed internet!

see, I couldn't sleep. so I got up today. and I had a shower, and in a very restrained fashion, did not switch the computer on until afterwards. and I got strange command lines. I took out my music CD just in case. started again. panicked. kept panicking. watched daytime telly. asked the boy if he knew - he didn't. went to the shop. cleaned some stuff, made some stuff, did some stuff, etc. watched more telly. finally - finally! - paternal comes home. turns out there was a boot CD in the other disc drive. I can't decide whether to feel stupid or annoyed and it's all overwhelmed by joy anyway. I think I have a serious problem.

Also I have been coerced into leaving the house very soon to go sing. singing is good. there may be teachers from my high school there, which would be odd.

but, glee! internet!

oh and i also trimmed my hair which was fun. but mostly to de-emphasise the panic of non-internet. I even went up to the loft to search for the cables for my computer in my room (which were tidied somewhere) but could not find them. doom. but never mind! have this one again!
