I just ate cake. It was nice.

Went out to dinner with the folks, and, near the end of the second bottle of wine, we were talking about tattoos. Paternal said, "skin should look like skin." I said, "well I've got plenty of scars already, why not have some pretty ones?" He said, "you don't have scars!" I said, "um." And that is how I told the parentals about my history of self-harm in our local chinese restaurant.

Before that I was knitting and one of the waitresses was interested and got the pattern off me (a very simple lace - trinity). I am flitting between a few things. And I just got a ravelry account. hmmmm. oughtta sleep. oughtta tidy and do laundry also but whatevs. sleeps ya is good.

Have not yet seen DW as was at dinner and now iplayer is mysteriously not giving it to me. Oh well, what the hell, *yawwwwwn*

I just started The Unicorn and The Wasp. ( hmm )

Next week's looks good, I think. Though part of that is me geeking out at the idea of the biggest library in the universe. Hello, mama!

Ho-hum. All I have done this weekend is knit and watch TV. I have one baby bootie and part of a toy elephant. And a new ravelry account - I need to upload some photos and stuff. Do that tomorrow. And re-fill my music beast. Hmm. OK. I have to get up in the morning so I have to slepe now, yes.
