Aug. 29th, 2008 09:21 amI do not know why I am awake at this hour, when yesterday was really long and I have not slept much this week, but here I am anyway.
The interview went OK, I think - I did not 'perform' well, but was honest about being nervous and such, and should hear back in a few days.
After that I went to the beach. Turns out, it was the first day of the Bournemouth Air Show, so the beach was very crowded, but I found a little patch by the wall and sat and knat. And there were planes and helicopters and some of them were very loud and it was reasonably entertaining, and then the show ended and most of the people left so I went and got my feet wet. Then I got the last bus to the airport and waited for four hours - one of those was spent lying down in the departure lounge because I was So Tired. And paternal got me from the airport as the trains stop before then, and I felt a little bad about it, but only a little.
Of course, all this - the beach, and paddling, and attempting to nap in public - was done while wearing my interview suit. Go me!
Perhaps I will go back to sleep now.
