It. I. OK. I had this semi-permanent cringe going. And there were anvils. And yet. There were a couple of bits that made me squee. A couple of things I... guess I want to extract from the episode because if they were gone then I could just say I hated it.

But there was Jackie, being OTT and then coming back to herself and then with the left-behind bit. And also mentioning Mickey, yay.

And Ursula, oh my god, yes. But she deserves far better than being a wall-hanging. Grr. And oh my god! if she doesn't age, then she won't die, and when Elton dies, what'll happen to her? or if he... he's too nice to dump her, but if he meets someone and, and Ursula would notice that he was distracted and there would be horrific horrific angst! *cries*

And I did actually like the face-off between Victor and the Doctor - with the "don't mistake that for nice."

Big pile of foreshadowing, wtf-ever. I can't wait until Spoiler Spoilers.
