kbkI am flaily mcflailerson and I really was trying to sleep but it didn't work and I kept thinking of things but dammit it's done and just needs printed and it's Fine.
The alien rapist (no, the alien one) does not believe in the female orgasm. That is sad.
Oh, and the first episode is kind of anti-feminist as well, in that we have a female character in a position of authority whom we meet while she is performing an "unfeminine" task (god, welding's hot) and oh! look what happens there!
And was I the only one who pictured Jack sitting in a bathtub slitting his wrists five times in a row just to see how much blood he could get? Or jumping off that nice tall building he was standing on, just for the fun of free-fall? Or even, anything, proving to himself that he really couldn't... Yeah? OK then.
Oh, oh, that was it, the Weevils are coming up more and more - I'm wondering if that's a pointer for an arc, or something... that there's something odd going on, some energy building and since they are 'close to the earth' or some such bullshit they sense it first?
And hey! I thought this was gonna be set in the nineties! damn them.

Oh, the hand, the Doctor's hand, and the way Jack tenderly cradled it while it twitched in the open air, and then he watched it in its new jar...
And that they have records of Jack in 1941. That's coolness.
Yes, I will probably watch it at least twice more this week. And? So? Well?
