From last week, I liked the scene with Donna's grandfather and mother both looking at the Doctor and going, "it's you!" And Donna telling Martha that Ten talks about her. And, hm. Sontar-ha!

Donna's mother gets to do the window-breaking. With an axe she keeps in case of burglars. Yeah.

Donna getting a key, and totally not getting sentimental, or anything. And the implication that she is being sent to safety and then finding out... whoops, no.

"I'm stuck. On Earth, like, like an ordinary person, like a human, how rubbish is that?!"
And then the visible suspicion, and the lying about Donna, and we know that Ten knows but Martha-clone doesn't.

And calling up the Sontarans, and the snarking with the Colonel, and the cartoon! and.

Oh, poor Ross! I was kind of expecting it, given, y'know, the Doctor liked him. But still. Oh Noes.

Sir Alistair! Eee! I wonder what he was doing in Peru?

I quite like the Colonel, actually. He's doing his best, bless him.

"Don't worry, I've got my secret weapon."
"And what's that?"
"You."
"Somehow that's not making me happy!" Donna is rather marvellous.

"Are you my Mummy?" oh, dearie me.

Um. The Jack ref. Is there a clone-sex story that I'm forgetting, or something?

That she calls her clone "Martha." And later takes back her engagement ring.

The Doctor just grabbing Rattigan's gun and throwing it away. And then the way Donna and Martha just walk around Rattigan, talking.

Martha having to hold the Doctor's coat up as she runs. And is she in bare feet? That's cute.

All the cheering, then "we're in trouble." heh.

The goodbye scene... pretty much all of it. Yeah. (Hey, I didn't mention earlier, but I like Donna's blazer. Good outfit. (obviously, not So Very moved))

The Doctor threatening. And threatening. And. Would he have? I think so. But he really, really didn't want to.

Then the way Martha hugs. And Donna slaps first, and gets mildly indignant looks from both Ten and Martha. Aww.

And then, Donna inviting Martha along, and Martha's little speech, and then... am I the only one who totally interpreted that as the Tardis not wanting her to leave?

OK. I guess I liked this ep.

Next week's looks... interesting? The blonde looks pretty. And. I don't know. Wait and see.

And then of course I noticed a certain name in the credits and went "wait, what? where?" and had to go back and find it.

Now I am going to watch HIGNFY. I hope they blame themselves for Boris as it is their fault I thought he might be a reasonable human being despite Toryness, until a few days ago. And then maybe QI.

Oh, also, I have finished my Klein bottle hat. It is, um, hatlike. It was quite boring to knit - knit one, purl one, ad nauseum. Now I am back to shawl, which is slightly more interesting, but that means more opportunity for mistakes - I had to unravel about ten rows because I'd gotten turned around at some point, when I put it down in the middle of a row. Grr argh. But I am knitted past where I started frogging.

ETA: Oww! HIGNFY as presented by BRIAN BLESSED. My jaw hurts of laugh.

Hmm. Saturdays are about the only time I watch TV, now. And I tend to actually watch iplayer, because I forget when Who starts, or I am eating, or something. So. I am watching. Is good thing.

HIGNFY I am trying to forgive for Boris because really, it shouldn't have been that naive to assume that Funny On Telly =/= Electable as Mayor of Capital.

DW I am still resisting apart from reading entire flist at length. I am quite impressed with myself.
