I made shortbread earlier, and it actually turned out all right, which made me happy. But my dear friends must save me from eating all of it. Shortbread is a lot more labour-intensive than cake, because you have to rub the butter into flour and sugar, and that's it. I think it took me a good half hour of kneading. It's a much stiffer mixture.

And I post to amuse edithmatilda, who was complaining about her flist being silent, and who brought me back chocolate from her expotition. She rocketh.
