I am annoyed.

Paternal called - whatever.

Went to get clothes out of dryer - I put them in last night for 70 minutes. They are wet.

I don't know if the machines are shut off at a certain time, or if that machine's broken, or if sitting there all day somehow made them absorb water, but they are only marginally drier than they were when I took them out of the washer. And I simply refuse to spend more money. So they'll be strung across my room for the next few days.

This also means I have no knickers.

Well, i wouldn't worry about it too much and unless your pants are the size of small parachutes! They should dry really fast if you put them on a heater.
