We just had a fire alarm. And it went off again, briefly, while we were filing in. And apparently it has gone off twice already tonight, while I was at Mim's watching all three Harry Potter films. Apparently there is a fault somewhere and it was not just drunkards.

I am glad I was not asleep yet. I am considering staying awake for a few more hours just in case. Maybe not, though.

Ho-hum.

The last time mine malfunctioned, I just tore out the batteries.

I wonder if I should, like, eventually put them back in.

If only we could take the batteries out here. I'm sure nobody would mind. Especially if you asked them while outside in the wee sma's.
