kbkChristmas was nice, dammit. I don't know how long it would have lasted, but for those few days, it. Felt like family.
We played a lot of computer games. Phil brought laptop - World of Warriors (I made a girl gnome rogue called Soddit, only got to level 9 but still fun) - and, um, gamecube? - Donkey Konga (bongos! no, really, as controls, bongos with sensors in. and I was good at it.) and Super Monkey Ball which I sucked at but, um, Rich and I sat and played Monkey Dogfight against the computer and were equally shit and swore a lot.)
Also played Settlers of Catan twice and the second time I won. Yay.
And, and. Just sitting around reading. Doing a cryptic crossword with K + G.
I mean it wasn't all peace and joy because I kept wanting to bongo and it irritated Gillian esp., but.
But presents were good all round apart from the amazing amount of Christmassy tat the parentals sent down with me, and. and. stuff.
So I'm on the comedown from that and the vodka probably isn't actually helping but the other crutch option is one I don't do any more.
May try to write some. Should probably eat a bit more, try to pump some sugar in, but. Gah.
