kbkI have now seen through ep 13 of 'lantis. Joy. I do like take-charge competent McKay. It's something that doesn't show up as much in fic, because mostly he's angst-puppy (which is totally valid) or incredibly-smart (also valid). Ooh, also, Teyla kicking Shepwhore's ass.
I quite want Teyla/Lizzie because they're just... they have all this stuff in common with the leader-of-people etc and they just get it. Also femslash yay.
Also earlier I watched a film called "The Man Who Sued God" which had Billy Connolly as main character, and the actor for his brother is one I recog'd from bad Aussie cop show. Which was odd. Also the "religious leaders" who were minor characters were actually quite cool. Esp the Jewish one. "God is love? What have you people been reading?"
And the second half of AI. Schmaltz supreme.
Um. Was odd. I was still up when dad woke and he didn't nag me. Felt like he was treating me as an adult for a change, but I think actually he's just sick and tired of trying to control my patterns.
Have not yet started working. Fuckit.
Am go schlaf soon.
