kbkJust saw "House of Flying Daggers".
So pretty! So angsty! So love-triangle-of-doom! And the twisty twisty lying! And the magic daggers! And the brothel!
Um. Yes. I may have spent a fair amount of time making small noises and gesticulating.
The scenes (and the women) in the brothel were just so damn pretty. And the Echo Dance extraordinarily cool. And. Oh God the LoveTriangleOfDoom!!! Because at first I was all slashing Jin and Leo, though maybe more an unrequited thing going... and then there's Jin and Mei who are both so pretty and are so fucking pretty and sweet together, and then there's the history with Leo and Mei and it just... doom. doomitydoomdoom. and the blood on snow. and. eeeee.
Really stunning visually, though I wish I knew a little more about the colour symbolism involved. But. Eee.
