Because (*looks pointedly upstairs*) somebody had to get up to let the ntl man in. And then he wanted to look at the digital tv so I had to brave the boy's room for the remote (the boy is elsewhere). And I was partly awake anyway because the parentals kept talking before they left. So I could conceivably snark at every other inhabitant of this house.
Apparently the return path was low. And he fixed that but he's gonna send someone out from Networks to balance it all, or some such. Joy.
I have to go into town later to pick up my sunglasses. I must not forget.
Ugh, wah, etc.
