Out of boredom, I was looking up actors on imdb, one of whom was Robert Sean Leonard. The piece of trivia on his main page: "To this day, is still close with Dead Poets Society (1989) co-star, Ethan Hawke."

I know that statement is perfectly innocent. I really do. But Neil/Todd exists - their characters in said film - and I just *died* when I read that.

Also, when I started typing his name into the search box, my fingers automatically typed "Rodn", which was a bit distressing - not that there's any such thing as too much McKay, but, uh, I prefer it when my fingers are connected to my brain.

I had to get up this morning and go into town with paternal unit to get things for Mexico. Money was spent. But he did most of the talking. And now I have, like. Stuff. Most of which is just insect repellent etc, but still. And I have prescription sunglasses on order.

And I'm tired. But also excited because it's Saturday. (Five hours to go!)

I was just rewtching DPS the other day, and I really want to write a fic of alternative lives for Neil--one of which, at least, would have to figure Todd in it.

When I was younger, I totally understood why Neil did what he had to do.

Now I think he was just a little bit selfish, yeah. Poor Todd.
