kbkMy Five Favourite Stories I've Written:
Wild Strawberries - When I wrote this, I thought it was the best piece I'd ever produced. I think I may have done better since, but I loved this thing hard and long. Weasley twin angst, yay.
Knowing - This won't actually make sense unless you know the episode it refers to - and wow, X-Files fic, when I really didn't write much of that - the basic concept is that there's this giant underground fungus, and if you get caught inside it then you hallucinate while it slowly digests you then eventually spits out your bones. And I don't love the execution, but the concept is still one of the kickiest things my brain's spat out.
Five Meetings That May Have Happened - Oh, heh. I somehow got myself a crossover OTP for a while there. Fitz/Oz forever, man. I did, uh, two other stories with them, but there are a few lines in here that I just adore.
Blue Moon In Your Eyes - Hee. This was just so much fun for me to write. "Holy shit! Johnny, you've got tits!" God. Taking every frustration about being female and putting it on this poor boy, because he's angsty and angry and he can threaten people with fire. I still have part of a sequel hanging around somewhere...
Hospitality - Oh, what a contrast to the last one. This one was me exercising my Evil. I mean, I've done some bleak stuff, some nasty stuff, but this is both, and the style fits but it was a break from my norm, and frankly it worries me how many bad things I came up with... This is one of the few things I've written that I think I would have commented on. It's experimental, it's evil, and I'm proud of it.
Huh. No Jossverse fic. That's kinda weird. But I guess most of that I wrote years ago, and my writing's matured since then. Especially my porny stuff, I've acquired a bit more nerve when it comes to writing and posting explicit sex. Though a fair bit of that's been at Kim's behest.
And ask me about titles if you want, though I can't really think of any that are mysterious.
