visited friends from hall from last year and they gave me christmas presents and I hadn't got them anything... oops. will have to get something to give them when they get back, as hall gets chucked out tomorrow. they all seemed concerned about me, though, with my sleep-deprivation and my cipramil - I think it's 'cause I'm the youngest. anyway.

as I was out, and will probably be out again later, my ENTangst is still not anywhere near ready. dammit. nostalgia_lj hates me.

do other people get horrendously affected by fic? like, I've been reading lots of Methos-fic the past few days (even though I've never even seen Highlander) and thus keep thinking in terms of layers of personality and alternate personas and molding self to suit others... anyway.

Yeah, I do. But I figure I can live in any fantasy world I like as long as I keep it to myself and the few who enjoy such things.

I am not good with heights, for example. I work on tall ships in my spare time. Most of the time I'm fine, but occasionally I'm told to do something that really scares the mess out of me. There are a few people sharing space in my head who are better at such things than I am. Nice to let them take over at times.

There are always one or two people in my life who don't mind a bit of fantasy with their real life as well.
