I am sore. Ow. Today, all I have done is send one email. Perhaps tomorrow I will have a bath, for to loosen self up, but then again I may still be bleeding. Hmm.

See, the men digging up the driveway uncovered a layer of cobbles - big square ones, that is - and the parentals decided to keep them, so last night and the night before we were out moving the loose ones and stacking them at the bottom of the garden. So I am all sore up the backs of my thighs, and the sides of my arse, and less so through my back.

A massage would be really nice. But oh well. Alcohol's a relaxant, isn't it? I shall go in search of such.

Baths are essential when bleeding. I cannot believe Old Wives used to stop us. If not steeped in hot water at least on the first day my uterus refuses to forgive me.

I tend to go more for the hot water bottle / sugar / alcohol route. Because there is just that bit of ickness with the bath. Sigh. Am nearly done now, though, I think, so bath tomorrow. Because ow, ow, ow still.

I do not bleed in baths for some reason. Is this not normal? Is very useful trait. Also I would think cup could be left in if wished. But if hot water bottles work this is good. If it gets nasty you could try maybe a Lush massage bar on it also? They are less hassly than oil and less clotheswrecking. Even if they have discontinued my favourite one, which seems to be their hobby these days.
