That was quite interesting, actually; most of the letters are multiples, so why did I pick these ones instead of others? Some because I'm proud of them, some because I was trying not to have too many in the same fandom, some... I dunno. Huh. And there's a little project, now, to use the letters I haven't, yet. I used to pronounce it Jie, but was very firmly corrected by my English teacher in fourth year and I've trained myself to say it as Jay ever since.

I didn't notice it until I was teaching, and realised that I ought to be teaching the standard Jay instead of the bits-of-Scotland Jie. It's just one of those random little things that make life interesting. Like "outwith" isn't standard English either.
