So today I fucked up bigstyle. First I failed to get up, so I was late going to the presentation session, and then I didn't even get into the room, and I was sitting outside crying, and I went to the door and did "I'm sorry I can't I really can't" and ran off to the toilets. So now I have to email to sort out a time to do it solo, and apologise to my group, and such.

I just. God. I really thought I could do this. And then last night I stayed up ridiculously reading mediocre fic and then of course was the waking and panicking and I just, god. I want to pretend the world doesn't exist, so. I can do those emails fine then forget it all until tomorrow when I will probably have the fun of talking about it at group, grr.

You need to do what I did in Uni and set the alarm clock to tell you when to go to sleep. No, I'm not kidding: I really did do that a few times during hand-ins. It probably prevented me from passing out during lectures, although there was no saving me in structures (mmm concrete columns...fun)

And, by the way, there were regular occurences of someone being reduced to tears in a review session during the course of my degree. Crying doesn't equal failure, crying equals "stressed". x.

Ten days is not long! And the alarm thing really does help. You just have to stick at it.

Also, for the getting up part I recommend having alarm in an un-arm-reachable place. Then you HAVE to get out of bed to switch the sodding thing off. Harsh, but works. Also, next days clothes on radiator so there's an added incentive of warm snuggly dayclothes when you stumble out of bed at stupid a.m (stupid a.m for me is before 7am. It huuuuurts)

*hug* *cup of tea* *iguana* (I'm missing the Mexico sunshine this year. Bloody S.A.D!)
