Feb. 28th, 2007 12:25 amI am reading Temeraire, which I got from the library - I meant to buy it, but then I didn't have money, and I didn't get round to it, so on, so forth, but I saw it in the library and I squealed and I got it, and now I think I will buy the others - I am quite squeeful.
It is the sort of thing which makes me sit and bounce, and go, yay, dragons! (and cuddle Maude, of course.) Also, yay, ships! yay, alternate histories! yay, repressed-and-honourable-Captain! even yay Laplace just because of the random name-check of stuff I once studied.
And because it is a book I can switch the computer off and lie down, and once I am finished reading I will go to sleep, instead of starting something else.
Oh, re: uni, I did not get the report done at all, but got an extension, so I now have some time, and I am going to email a draft to tutor-person next week, and finish the stuff for library tomorrow, hopefully... no, not hopefully, it just means I have to get up, and I am just about caught up on sleep and thus should have no problem doing that (hah, some chance).
Anyhoo. Book. Then sleep. Yes.
