The heating is broken and my room is very very cold. I think it is colder than outside. That is my excuse for spending most of the day in bed, instead of going with the plan I made last night, which would have involved getting out from under the covers.

Yesterday I nearly got given a child ticket on the bus. And I was asked for ID buying beer in the supermarket.

Now I am 24.

And it is time for presents!

I got I.D'd for knives a couple of months ago. I didn't have any on me because I'd sent my driving license off to have the address changed. I smiled, left without the ki=nives, got into the car I'd been driving for 7 years and drove back to the house I'd just bought. *sarcastic smirk*

I think we can just say it's because old people can't tell any more - like the stereotype of all Asian people looking the same, all young people look the same and so 24 = 14 to people above 50.

I find it annoying at times when treated/mistaken for a child, but then I think to myself, "Someday, I will look back on those times with fondness..."

That is what the woman at the supermarket said, too - she commented that I seemed prepared to be asked for ID, I told her about the bus, etc.

I just snet a rather flippant covering email with a job app. It is because I have been awake all night and the only reason I am nearly sober is that I was sick. *frowns* I should take more drugs, having lost the previous set.

I'm going to sleep soon. Honest.
