Gaaaaaaah.

I am seriously contemplating giving up on christmas presents and just giving everyone booze or chocolate. Or both.

Also I am epicly failing at job apps. I made a list of fifteen or so I was going to apply for and I think I managed, oh, five. And I want to get out of here, I swear to god, I do. I'm just a lazy-ass fuck-up imbecile and I suck.

I was going to go to the shop but now it's just a little too late - there will be schoolkids. Does chocolate trump kids? Hmm. I could get M to stop at the shops on the way back from the concert tonight - some cello thing. Hmm. Muffins, though. Muffins and chocolate and beer. Hmm. Oh, but now it is raining again. Rain stops play for sure.

Christmas presents can be a pain. I'm happy to give or receive food/drink. I'm putting together "hampers" for my aunt/boyfriend, mum/dad and brother/fiancee; they've got a bottle of booze, some herb vinegar (home made), some chilli/rosemary olive oil (homemade), posh jam, coffee and maybe some chocolates or biscuits (I may make these too).

My cousin is a bugger to buy for: 13 years old and he has everything he asks for from his mum anyway.

My friends and I don't do presents. We just enjoy each other's company. Much, much more sensible.

Food/drink is good because it is consumable and thus does not particularly add to the accumulation of crap that we all have. Bath stuff etc also consumable, but runs the risk of telling someone you think they smell.
